Sustainability

The team at Unwind Media recognizes the importance of addressing the environmental impact of our business, operations and ad solution. Online platforms like ours, despite being in the cloud, have a physical impact, whether that is the energy consumption of the servers we use, the energy usage of the visitors that play games on our sites or the ads we serve.

Since April of 2023, we’ve been offsetting the CO2 emissions of our entire business operations and visitor usage of our sites. We view this as the most holistic way to think about the carbon footprint we generate.

Since July of 2022, we’ve worked to improve the efficiency of our programmatic supply chain. We’ve been able to reduce our ad requests by over 50% and are listed as atop 20% carbon efficient supply chain by Scope3.
